Frequently asked questions

Which CRMs do you support?

HubSpot and Salesforce, both bidirectional (push activity to the deal timeline, pull deal status onto the recording card). Pipedrive and others can be added against the same architecture when there's customer demand.

Do I need to be a CRM admin to connect?

On the TrailerCast side, yes. HubSpot just needs a normal user with portal access. Salesforce sometimes locks down Connected Apps and requires a Salesforce admin to pre-approve TrailerCast in their org first.

What scopes do you ask for?

Minimal. Read scopes only on Deals, Contacts, Companies. Write scopes scoped to Engagements (HubSpot) and Tasks (Salesforce). We never write to your deal, contact, or company fields.

How fresh is the deal status?

Live on the next page-load after a fresh share. For deals without recent activity, status syncs every 30 minutes via a background worker. Tunable if needed.

Is the trial really free?
