Frequently asked questions
How does the free trial work?
Sign up with just an email — no credit card needed. You get full access to every paid feature so you can record real demos, ship branded trailers, and watch the engagement signal flow. When you're ready to keep going, add a card from Settings → Billing and pick the tier that fits your team. If you don't, the account simply pauses; nothing gets charged automatically.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes, annual billing saves approximately 15% on Starter and Pro. Select annual at checkout. Enterprise annual terms are negotiated with sales.
How does Pro's per-seat pricing work?
Pro is $70/seat/month with a 3-seat minimum (so the floor is $210/mo). Each additional seat is +$70/month, billed alongside your base subscription. Annual billing brings it to $700/seat/year (effectively $58/seat/mo, 2 months free; the 3-seat annual floor is $2,100/yr). There's no hard cap on seats — add or remove anytime from Settings → Billing. If you're above ~15 seats, Enterprise per-seat pricing often comes out better; sales can model it for you.
Can I add a solution engineer or sales manager to a Decision Room without buying them a seat?
Yes. Pro and Enterprise both let the Decision Room owner invite same-company teammates as collaborators. Collaborators get full edit access on every section of the Decision Room — only the owner can transfer or delete. They do still need a TrailerCast user account, but they don't have to be admins.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or adjust seat counts anytime. Changes prorate to the current billing cycle on upgrades and take effect at the start of the next cycle on downgrades.
Does the AI Notetaker feature cost extra?
No. Meeting recording is included at every paid tier (Starter, Pro, Enterprise). The AI Notetaker joins your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams calls and the resulting trailer and Decision Room land in your library automatically.
What happens to the raw meeting recording?
Every AI Notetaker-recorded or uploaded demo is stored encrypted at rest. Both the trailer AND the original recording are accessible in your library for re-watching, rebuilding with different clips, or deep-linking prospects into specific segments. Enterprise plans can set custom retention policies.
Which languages do you support for narration?
Every tier can narrate trailers in 15+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Turkish, and Russian. We translate your narration script and synthesize it with a native-sounding voice.
How does voice cloning work?
Voice cloning is included on every tier. Upload a 30 to 60 second audio sample of clear speech and we'll create a custom AI voice that narrates every future demo in your own voice (or your CEO's, or a professional voice actor's). You can replace or delete the cloned voice anytime.
Why does every tier include every product feature?
We think gating features by tier is the wrong incentive. It rewards upgrading for things that should just work. TrailerCast tiers are priced on usage (demos per month, seats) so you pay in proportion to value, not for access to a checkbox. The only Enterprise-exclusive capabilities are ops and compliance (SSO, SLA, custom retention, white-label, CRM sync) because those are sold as part of a contract, not a product toggle.
What video formats are supported for direct uploads?
TrailerCast accepts MP4, MOV, and AVI files. Most screen-recording tools and video conferencing platforms export to these formats. AI Notetaker recordings are handled automatically, no format concerns.
